The Piggy Back is a complete High Performance Omni Antenna System. It is designed to be added in line with your present antenna system, and take over completely in case it fails. It can also pay for itself by saving valuable time setting up live shots. Simply have the remote van pan it's antenna for the highest signal. If more gain is needed on a fringe shot, switch off power to the Omni, and you're on your main antenna, Just pan your main antenna for maximum signal; your remote is already set up.
The Piggy Back connects into your present antenna line, before your existing antenna and electronics. It has it's own separate filters and amplifier. It gets it's power from the center conductor of the Heliax going up your tower. It has it's own built-in transfer relay. It switches itself into the receive system when power is applied to the line going up the tower. We provide the device for inserting power into your Heliax.
With the Piggy Back added to your system, your site will always be in service! When lightning or anything else causes your main system to fail, you can completely remove the main antenna system for service or replacement. It also makes an ideal, highly reliable, main antenna system. All Systems are immune to PCS and XM-Radio.
The Piggy Back comes complete with Omni antenna, antenna mount, PCS proof/lightning proof LNA, for driving lines up to 2000 feet. A separate DC inserter is included for sending power up the line to your unit. All you add is a 24 volt power source.
