High Gain Yagi Antennas for Long Range 2-Way Radio, Internet, Streaming Video, Cellular, or ENG/EFP

Ideal for Distant News Bureaus

The PMI-2732WGF Grid Antenna  (pictured above) is a lightweight, baked epoxy fiber coated antenna with a Log Periodic feed that allows the antenna to cover 1,990 MHz through 2,500 MHz.  It can be used for both Receive and Transmit.  It is available in custom beamwidths to cover sectors up to 40 degrees.  The baked fiber-epoxy coating and  stainless steel hardware makes this antenna virtually rustproof.  This antenna is an excellent choice for receive or transmit up to 50 watts.  Antennas may be stacked for higher gain.

The antenna weighs 7 pounds, and has a windload of 1.2 square feet. Wind survival is 125 MPH. Physical dimensions are 27" x 32". The antenna can be rotated 90 degrees for horizontal polarization. Single lot price is $799.00 with quantity discounts available.

Antenna Pattern

2g_ENG--pattern_1911A.gif

The plots above show the vertical and horizontal lobes of the PMI-1911A Omni Directional antenna.  The Vertical pattern shows how far above and below the horizon the “beam” actually spreads.  The Horizontal pattern is the pattern produced if you looked down on the antenna from a point directly above the tower or mast where the antenna is mounted.

This 11 db gain antenna is a good choice for local to medium range ENG use.  It will receive on channels 1-10 in the 2/2.5 GHz Broadcast Auxiliary Service (BAS) Band, and can transmit between 1990 and 2110 MHz (BAS channels 1-7).

PMI-5900ParGrid-2-G, 2 GHz Galvanized Grid ENG/STL Antenna

antenna pattern

The PMI-5900ParGrid-2-G is a 5 foot parabolic grid dish antenna, with 28 db of gain.  It is ideal for extreme environments, where high winds or winter ice is a consideration.  Single piece price is $1450.00

Our Omni Antennas are ideal for areas where severe icing or high winds are a problem, or simply just for "fill". Since they do not require a rotor or switching, they provide the most reliability for local to medium range coverage. In the case of KPLC-TV, our 10 db gain Omni Antenna, used with our new SuperFilter/LNA that rejects PCS, provided signals as clean and at the same level as their MACOM DA624 Directional Antenna System. Our 10 db gain OMNI antenna can be used for transmit and receive, and is priced at $3,150.00 each, including Heavy-Duty Galvanized hardware.

WLOX-TV and WOFL-TV, also uses our Omni system. The system can be added to your present antenna, without having to rig an additional Heliax cable up your tower.  Your present steerable antenna works as always.  When voltage is applied through the Heliax line by our DC inserter, the Omni Antenna and it's separate amplifier box is switched in. If the main antenna fails, it can be completely removed for service, while the Omni acts as a backup. With this arrangement, the Omni can be used to quickly set up an ENG shot, and then the main antenna can be switched in if more gain is needed. There are no additional power lines running up the tower. The cost of this  OMNI Antenna System with our PCS-Proof SuperFilter/LNA is typically $9,300.00, and is guaranteed for 2 years.

The PMI-CP2 Series is a complete antenna system that uses a special cross-polarized grid backplane, and comes complete with LNA. It is capable of Circular (Right or Left), Vertical, or Horizontal polarization. The gain of the antenna alone is 22 db. The LNA is available in gains from 10 to 45 db, and a typical IP3 of +46 dbm! This is the ultimate ENG System for 2 & 2.5 Ghz. It is totally PCS Proof, and can be placed near high-power transmitting antennas. Call or Email for more info and pricing on this system.
