Add a 5th Port
For those stations that use a horn antenna system, we have a solution to the problem of adding more range and cleaning up video and audio subcarriers. The horn antennas allow quick setup for live shots, but only offer around 10 db of gain. If you could easily add a 23 db grid antenna to your system, you could receive clean audio and crisp video, where before you could only see a sync pulse using the horns.
Our 5th Port Conversion Kit consists of an auxiliary type "N" bulkhead connector, all lines, transfer relay, misc. parts, and instructions. You can install it yourself in about 2 hours, or send your system to us, and we'll install it for you, and check out your LNA, filter, and relays, for an additional $125. You do not have to add additional wiring, or go into your tower wiring harness!
This modification gives you 13 db additional gain. This is the equivalent of increasing your "Live Eye" transmitter power from 12 watts, to 240 watts! Your Horn Antennas work as they always have, and with the flip of switch, you'll have a powerful directional antenna at your service. We also have "lighting and interference proof" Super/LNA Upgrades for even better performance.
